Tex Cosby

Tex Cosby, 67, husband of Jo Ann Burton Cosby, died unexpectedly August 16, 2014. Tex was retired from GE where he was a machinist, business manager and Union president and recently was employed by Sam's Club. He was a farmer, member of the Jessamine Co. and KY Beef Cattle Associations, Lighthouse Baptist Church, the International Boar Goat Association, the American Legion and coached girls softball for years. He is also survived by his children, Jeffrey Scott Marion, Michelle (Darrell) Jones, Kevin Tex Cosby, Mike (Mary) Marion and Brittany Nicole Cosby, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven D. Marion, two granddaughters, Ava and Courtney Campbell and a brother, Kenneth Neal Owens. Services will be 11:30am Wednesday at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-9pm at the church. Bearers will be Jordan Tex Marion, Danyal Campbell, Christopher Scott Marion, Darrell Jones, Stanley Rice, Donnie McCulley, John Kartner, Henry Huddleston and Jimmy Lewellen.
