Terry Boone Ferguson

Terry Boone Ferguson, 69, husband of Gwen Yates Ferguson, passed Tuesday, October 18, 2016. He was born in Lexington, KY, September 21, 1947 to the late Era Boone Ferguson. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran, retired engineer from GTE, cattle farmer, and school bus driver for Jessamine County Schools. He loved his Lionel trains and was a avid UK fan. Terry could fix anything and could make the impossible possible but most of all he loved being with his family. Additional survivors are his two children, Kyle Matthew (Ciara) Ferguson DO and Melanie Anne Ferguson (Gregory) Davis, two grandchildren, Ryan Boone Ferguson and Graham Thomas Davis, two sisters, Pattie Ferguson (Foy) Hood and Beverly Ferguson Drake, one niece, Dawn Drake Sims, two nephews, David Christopher Drake and Gregory Hood MD and other family members. Service will be 10:00 AM Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Price officiating. Burial will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Foy Hood, Gregory Hood MD, Christopher Drake, Ron Rose, Jan Gould, Tommy Cobb, Eldon Cobb and Don Schmiedt.
