Shirley Wayne Davis

Shirley Wayne Davis, 69, widower of Patricia Davis, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Jessamine County on December 7, 1952, to the late Virgil Davis and Anna Lee Durham. He was proud to have served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughter, April Whitaker (David), granddaughter, Jessie Griffin (Joshua), great-grandchildren, Kaelynn and Jaxson Griffin, brother, Johnny Ray Davis, sister-in-law June Smith, and niece, Tonya Smith. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM, Friday, May 27 at the funeral home. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Betts & West is honored to serve the Davis family in their time of need.
