She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 19, 1961 to the late George Norris and Lilliam Meachum Norris. Survivors include boyfriend of 20 years, Rick Duncan, children, David Carter, James Kennedy, Melissa Carter, Loretta Blair, Catherine Carter, and Christina Walker, brother, Paul Norris, and numerous other family members.
