Sheila Diane Welch

Sheila Diane Welch, 58, widow of William Gene Welch, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Perry County on April 26, 1965, to the late Jack Combs and Sharon Raines. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Leondra Jane Hager, Amy Nichole Welch, and Billy Gene Welch (Kennedy); brother, Bruce Combs; sister, Sandra Combs; as well as grandchildren, Jonathan Hager, Chelsea Wilburn, Sierra Wilburn, Trent Wilburn, Grant Wilburn, Kinley Mae Welch, and Maisyn Welch. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 18, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Horton officiating. Burial will follow at the Welch Family Cemetery, where family and friends will serve as bearers. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
