Sgt. Danny Timothy Vineyard, 72, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in his home with his family. He is survived by his sweetheart, Sylvia; his children, Eldon (Cheryl) Perkins, Jennifer (Tommy Masters) Goode, Tracy (Lee) Phillips, Heather (Anthony) Bonds, and Tim Vineyard. He has been blessed with eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, two other sisters, three brothers, and two great-grandchildren. He has two sisters-in-law, Peggy Collins and Catherine Stinnett, and many nieces and nephews. In his lifetime, he has had many lifelong friendships. He is a retired Veteran from the U.S. National Guard (22 years), the U.S. Navy (8 years), and 36 years of service at Woodall Construction. Services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Sheila Horton-Holt officiating. Burial and military honors will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Miller, Jayden Miller, Anthony Perkins, Krieg Dixon, Jacob Perkins, and Tommy Masters. Honorary bearers will be Tim Vineyard, Eldon Perkins, Lee Phillips, Anthony Bonds, Rusty Vineyard, and Steve Ratledge. The visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve the Vineyard family in their time of need.
