Samuel Roe

Samuel Roe, 70, husband of Sue Roe, died August 5, 2011 after a lengthily illness. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ and was a retired employee of the University of Kentucky. He was a native of Wolfe County, son of the late Samuel and Minnie Roe. Additional survivors include fourchildren, Timmy Isaac (Carolyn) Proffitt, Christie (Tim) Baker, Jamie (Thomas) Isbell and Dylan Hampton, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two brothers, Harvey and Johnny Roe, numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Brow. Services will be 11:00am Tuesday, August 9, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Puckett. Burial will follow in the Maple Gove Cemetery.
