Sallie Linda Adams Wells

Sallie Linda Adams Wells, 72, wife of Claude Millard Wells passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born in Lake Worth, Florida on December 17, 1948, to the late John Henry Adams and Jane McEvoy Adams. Sallie was a retired elementary school teacher of 29 years in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. Survivors include one daughter, Jacquelyn Salice Neal, sister, Ruth Ariela Adams Johnson, two grandchildren, John Jyan William Neal, and Joshua Jing-Wu David Neal, two nieces Kim Isaac and Cindy Cuddy. Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Wilmore Free Methodist Church with Pastor Darrell Diddle and Sharon Clements officiating. Visitation will be 4-7:00PM, Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Interment will be in Wilmore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
