Ruby Frances Mcdaniel Newton

Ruby Frances McDaniel Newton, 78, widow of Thomas Charles Newton, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009. She was born February 19, 1931 in Lexington, KY to the late Claude Worley and Cora Ann Smith McDaniel. Ruby was a homemaker and member of Jessamine Christian Church. Survivors are her three children, Charlene Powell, David T. (Brenda) Newton and Mary (Bobby) Davis, all of Nicholasville, seven grandchildren, Becky Ricketts, David T. Newton II, Clint and Chris Newton, Lori Montgomery, Max and Ali Davis, eleven great grandchildren, one brother, Roger (Beth) McDaniel of Jessamine County and many special nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:30 am Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Davis officiating. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be David T Newton II, Clint and Chris Newton, Ryan Montgomery, Jeff Ricketts and Bobby Davis.
