Rowens Mae Duty "Rosie" Labadie

Rowena Mae Duty -Rosie- LaBadie, 71, wife of John J. Labadie Jr., of Shannon Parkway, died March 2, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a retired employee of Dixie Cup. She was the daughter of the late Kenis and Eliza Baldridge Duty. Survivors include three children, Debbie LaBadie-Cincinnatti, Diana (Mackie) Hughes-Lexington and Steven LaBadie-Lexington, four grandchildren, Thomas (Amy) Bernier, Trey, Halle and Alana Hughes, brothers, Fred and Ralph Pigg and Chris Duty, sisters, Faye (Kenny) Doolin, Birdie (Lester) Montgomery, Barbara Beck, Annie Nokes and Susie Weekley. She was preceded in death by a son, John Joseph LaBadie III and a brother, James Duty. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Johns and Rev.
