Ronald Dale Olson

Ronald Dale Olson, 98, husband of Darlene F. Olson, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Mayfair Manor in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Aurora, Illinois on July 3, 1925, to the late Harry Olson and Ella Julia Peterson Olson. Ronald was a missionary with the Conservative Baptist Foreign Mission Society as well as a veteran of the US Army, having served in World War II. In addition to his wife, Darlene, he is survived by his children, Dale Allen Olson, Kathryn Sue Shelton Ronald David Olson, Judith Ellen Larson and Andrew Michael Olson. He is preceded in death by his twin sisters, Harriett Osborne and Eleanor Olson. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 17, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Lee McCloud officiating. Burial and Military Rites will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
