Robert Howard Johnson

Robert Howard Johnson, 74, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at his home on Johnson Road, Nicholasville. He was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky, on March 12, 1949, to the late Robert Johnson and Elizabeth Sebastian Johnson. He attended church in Breathitt County, where he was raised. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Howard “Ed” Johnson (Jamie); daughter, Marilyn Johnson (William); sisters, Hannah Adams, Lu Simms, Patricia Rose, and Betty Horn; niece, Molly Johnson; and grandchildren, Cole Johnson, Brylee Johnson, Alivia Hilderbrand, and Gavin Hilderbrand. In addition to his parents, Robert and Elizabeth, he is preceded by siblings, Reed Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Andrew Johnson, and Lizzie Spicer. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 23, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. James Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where bearers will be Devin Adams, John Berryman, John Trevorah, Rocky Johnson, Samuel Johnson, and Scott Johnson.
