Robert Edgar Moody

Robert Edgar Moody, 73, husband of Diana Lou Buck Moody, passed Wednesday, December 14, 2016. He was born June 22, 1943 in Lexington, KY to the late George Hagedorn and Virginia Huston Moody. Robert had worked for the Fayette County Government. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family, was a Vietnam Army Veteran, enjoyed playing bridge and watching old movies. Additional family survivors are a step daughter, Sherrie (Clark) Spader, five grandchildren, Brandon, Jackson and Maranda Hoosier, Ryan and Shane Spader, a sister, Donna (Roger) Tremaine and other family members. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Moody. Service will be 1:30 PM Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bruce Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
