Robert Duane Stapleton

Harrodsburg-Robert Stapleton, 62, husband of Laura Sturgill Stapleton, died March 2, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and son of the late Jay and Anna Margaret Music Stapleton. Additional survivors include two daughters, Summer Stapleton and Shannon (Tommy) Pinkston, grandsons Trevor and Collin Pinkston, a sister, Helen (Gene) Newby, nieces, Nancy Newby and Susan Baker, nephews, Michael D. Sturgill Jr. and Chad (Kristy) Sturgill, aunts, Freda Harding and Eda VanHoose, a brother in law, Michael Dale Sturgill, numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Stapleton. Services will be 1:30pm Friday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
