Richard Cleveland Horton

Richard Cleveland Horton, 50, of Beauford Place, died Sunday, August 12, 2006. Born June 17, 1957, he was the son of James Willard and Alice Faye Houp Horton. He was formerly employed by the City of Wilmore. He is survived by one son, Wesley Allan Bruner-Nicholasville, two sisters, Lucille (Chris) Abner-Irvin and Leona (Donald) Cheek-Lake Herrington, one brother, James Horton-Nicholasville, two grandchildren, Audrey Short and Tyler Bruner-both of Lexington, and several nieces, nephews and other family members. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Leonard Fitch officiating. Burial will be in Shawnee Run Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 AM until the time of service. Bearers will be James Horton, Wesley Bruner, Marty Baker, Chris Houp, Wayne Bush and Chris Abner. Honorary Bearers will be Stephen Horton, James Willard Horton III, Junior Edwards, James Richard, Mark Cross, James West, Donald Cheek, and Chris Houp Jr.

Visitation:
Friday from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.

Funeral:
Friday at 1:00 pm at Betts & West Funeral Home.

Interment:
Shawnee Run Cemetery
