Raymond Lee Elliott, 88, widower of Iva Marie Elliott, died September 16, 2014 at the Thompson Hood Veteran Center. He was a member of Grace Community Church, was a WW II Army veteran, former master mechanic with Farmer Lincoln Mercury and was an avid HAM radio operator. He was the son of the late Guy Stanley Elliott and Maggie J. Willoughby Elliott. He was the loving father of Marie (Mike) Johnson and Peggy (Lloyd) Watkins, grandfather of Christy (Brent) Richie, Wesley M. (Kris) Johnson, Arthur R. Johnson, Shawn, Sara and Michael Elliott, great grandfather of Morgan, Makayla, Madison and Maci Richie and Robert M. Johnson. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen L. Elliott. Services will be 11:00am Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm today. Bearers will be Lloyd Watkins, Mike Johnson, Brent Richie, Wesley Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Robert and Roy Williams.
