Raymond G. Hasty

Raymond G. Hasty, 70, husband of Donna Becknell Hasty, of Lynnwood Drive, Nicholasville, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at his home. He was born on September 21, 1952, in Wilmore, Kentucky to the late Hubert and Ada Sexton Hasty. Raymond was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a self-employed HVAC Technician. He was an avid fisherman and loved his beach vacations. When he didn’t have his fishing line or toes in the water, his hands were always kept busy with one project or another. His craftsmanship wasn’t limited to construction, as he was also a great cook! Raymond is survived by his wife Donna, a son, Anthony (Amber Greer) Hasty, a daughter, Amy Hasty (Brian) McLellan, a brother, Ricky Hasty, five sisters, Patsy West, Margaret Baker, Janet Halcomb, Wanda Johns, and Barbara Hasty, four grandchildren, Tucker Hasty, Layne Hasty, Owen McLellan, and Isabelle McLellan. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, James, and Mike Hasty. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 8, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
