Rachel Nicole Girardot

Rachel Nicole Snowden Girardot, age 35, departed for her heavenly home on Sunday, December 10, 2023, peacefully at her residence. She was born on August 24, 1988, in Lexington, Kentucky to James E. Snowden III, and Mary Ann Roberts Snowden. Rachel was a graduate of West Jessamine High School and Sullivan University. She worked in healthcare, something that she loved tremendously. When not working Rachel loved spending time with her family. Rachel also loved watching her daughter play softball, something she also liked playing throughout her life. Rachel married her companion of 17 years, Jeremy Girardot, on July 23, 2022. Together they have a beautiful daughter, Madison Ann Girardot, whom they both love more than anything. In addition to her parents, husband, and daughter she is survived by a sister, Amanda Rose McMillian (Jessie), two nieces, McKenzie McMillian, and Bella McMillian, three nephews, Austin McMillian, Elijah McMillian, and Zayn White, and a Dear friend, Penni Foreman. Rachel was preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents, Ralph and Rose Roberts, and Paternal grandfather, James E. Snowden Jr. Funeral Services will be at 6:00 PM, Friday, December 15, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-8:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at The Pines Cemetery, in Beattyville, Kentucky with Pastor Brian Kendrick officiating. Bearers will be Austin McMillian, Elijah McMillian, Jessie White, Shane Osso, John Michael Girardot, and Robbie Girardot.
