Porter C Ragland

Porter C. Ragland, 74, husband of Gloria Kay Houston Ragland, passed Tuesday, April 7, 2015. He was born June 8, 1940 in Lexington, KY to the late Charleston Francis and Edith Lee Wade Ragland. Porter was retired from IBM. He loved to play guitar, was computer savvy, liked to work on cars and was mechanically gifted. Family survivors are two children, Julie Ragland Brumfield and Rick (Mindy) Ragland, three grandchildren, Emily Dawn Turner, Noah Patrick Ragland and Kaylyn Brooke Ragland, three sisters, Phyllis (Edward) Eary, Norma Jean Mudd and Debbie (James) Flowers and other family members. Services will be 10:00 am Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Colby Flowers officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
