Pearl Jane Canter Hager

June 13, 1913 — March 4, 2010

Nicholasville - Pearl Jane Canter Hager, 96, widow of of Willie Ray Hager, died March 4, 2010. She was the daughter of the late John William and Ella Williams Canter and a member of the Jessamine Christian Church. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Dickie Ray and Martha Hager, Bennie Dean and Pat Hager, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two sisters, Ruby Bell and Geneva Warner both of Richmond, IN, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Thomas Hager and ten brothers and sisters. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2010 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Bell and Rev. Dale Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Family members will serve as bearers. Honorary bearers will be Dr. Stephen Royse and William Keith.
