Obituary for Pauline Rankin

Pauline Rankin, 84, of Lawrenceburg and formerly of Nicholasville died Thursday, October 11, 2018 at her home. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on December 6, 1933 to the late Wesley Kidwell and Bessie Portwood Kidwell. Pauline was a homemaker who loved to cook, crochet, work crossword puzzles, listen to county music and be with family and friends. Survivors include her children, Sandra K. Grooms and Vickie Kates of Lawrenceburg and James Whitaker of Lexington, 9 grandchildren and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Whitaker. Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home and burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time of Tuesday.
