Paul Martin

Paul Wallace Martin, 61, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on May 8, 1961, to John Paul (Kathy) Martin and Betty Lou White. Paul was a roofer by trade and had a passion for cars and motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ann Bonds; sons, Christopher Eldridge, Justin Martin, and Tyler (Kendra) Bonds; daughter, Kandice Martin (Brandon) Montgomery; brothers, John T. Martin, Steven Scott Martin (Randi Saulles), and Matthew T. (Misty) Martin; grandchildren, Aiden Bonds, Jaelynn Bonds, Karsyn Merritt, Kyngston Merritt, and Brinley Bonds; as well as nieces and nephews, Judah Martin, Ezra A. Martin, and Isabella C. Saulles. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 21, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Johnny Hopkins, Tyler Bonds, Keith Bain, Chris Eldridge, Chris Herring, and David Goforth. Honorary bearers will be Aiden Bonds, and John T. Martin. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve Paul and his family in their time of need.
