Patsy York Latham, 75, wife of David Latham passed away Monday, June 28, 2021, at St. Joseph Main in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on May 19, 1946, in Albany, Kentucky to the late Earl and Sallie Coop York. Pat was a retired high school librarian working for the Jessamine County School System. Survivors include a son, David “Martin” Latham (Carmen) and a daughter, Larette Wells Latham, three grandchildren, Emily Latham, Nolan Latham and Taylor Latham, brothers, Andrew M. York, Randall York and Sammy Darrell York, sister, Margaret Rose McGinnis. She was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Perdew. Pat enjoyed camping in her RV, visits with neighbors and family, bird watching, studying her family ancestry, studying bible archaeology, history, and watching Nascar races. She deeply loved her family, neighbors, students, and work colleagues. Services will be 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time, Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home with David Oatts officiating. Graveside service will be conducted at Cartwright Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky on Saturday July 3, 2021, at 1PM Central Standard Time.
