Norvile "Bud" Dean Stogdill

Nicholasville-Norvile 'Bud' Dean Stogdill, 73, husband of Shari Doolin Stogdill, died June 10, 2014. He was born August 7, 1940 in Lancaster, MO to the late Warren Leonard and Margaret Ellen Stogdill. Bud was retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service, was employed by G.E. Medical as an electronic technical engineer, and was a bookkeeper for Jonah Mitchell Real Estate, Alternative Jewelry, New Covenant Church and River of Life Church. Additional family survivors are four children, Glenda Sue Creger, Dawn Ann Singleton, Ward William Stogdill and Norvile Dean (Lindsey) Stogdill Jr., six grandchildren, Brandon Michael Stogdill, Michael Wesley Stogdill, Isaiah Sean Stogdill, Ian James Singleton, Phoenix Donovan Stogdill, and Rune Alexander Stogdill, siblings, Anna (Jim) Pickle, James (Linda) Stogdill, Nina Wages, Gary (Jenny) Stogdill, and other family members. He was also preceded in death by three siblings, Leona Hedlund, Lana Harding, and Danny Stogdill. Services will be 5:00 pm Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastors Marion Dalton and Mark Keene officiating. Visitation will be from 3-5pm Saturday.
