Noah Pete Martin, 77, husband of Marietta Canter Martin passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was born in Madison County, Kentucky on February 18, 1945, to the late James Martin and Florine Patterson Martin. Pete was retired from Central Ready Mix where he worked as a truck driver, and he was a member of the Cane Run Baptist Church. Survivors include his children, Dr. Kathy Fields (Tim), Susan Middleton (Gary), Keith Cartwright (Deanie), Melanie Martin, Mary Martin, Angie Farrow (Mike), Marcie Martin, April Parker (Eric); grandchildren, Marshal Tingle (Kristen), Alex Tingle (Sydney), and Bethany Parker; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Houston Tingle; brothers, Anthony Martin (Norma), and John Martin (Ellagene); sisters, Virginia Helen Davis (Jeff), Charlene Gay, Muriel Dean Hulett (Charles), and Sharon Kidd (Ronnie); as well as numerous other family members to mourn his passing. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Omar. Memorial services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 23, 2022, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Any floral arrangements may be sent directly to Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Betts & West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
