Nancy Lee Nieves

Nancy Lee Chafin Nieves, 90, wife of Antonio “Tony” Nieves, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at her home in Nicholasville. She was born in Logan, West Virginia, on January 2, 1932, to the late Herbert Chafin and Lucille Coalmer-Chafin. She was a member of the First Christian Church. As well as her husband Tony, she is survived by two sons, Daniel Nieves (Sharon) and Scott Nieves, one daughter, Jane Irwin (Tom), a special niece, Yuki Okuma, eight grandchildren, Leigh Nieves (Shane), Alison Serian (Justin, Morgan Hall (Russell), Logan Nieves, Evan Nieves, Drew Nieves, Bryson Nieves, and Jack Nieves, as well as three great-grandchildren, Mason Serian, Charlotte Serian, and Remy Hall. She is preceded by two sisters, Betty White and Naomi Okuma. Instead of traditional visitation, friends are encouraged to stop by at their convenience and visit Tony at his residence, at 312 Courchelle Drive in Nicholasville.
