Michael Ray Harrison

Michael Ray Harrison, 60, husband of Darlene S. Harrison, died Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born on November 6, 1963, in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Tee Harrison and Doris Dunaway Harrison. Michael worked as a plumber. In addition to his wife, Darlene he is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ann Cochran (Blaine Anness), and Ashley Michelle Carpenter (Terry Carpenter), and a son, Michael Y. Harrison, 5 brothers, Otis “T-Boy” Harrison (Jennifer), Donnie Harrison, Jerry Harrison (Cheryl), Joe Harrison (Michele), and David Harrison (Sherry), and a granddaughter, Madison Carpenter, and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Stephens, and a grandson, Jacob Michael Cochran. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rich Conway officiating. With burial to follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers will be Terry Carpenter, Blaine Anness, Ashley Carpenter, Chuck Harrison, Tommy Dunaway, and Franz Wolff. Honorary bearers will be his brothers, and Josh Hendren.  Visitation will be 5-8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home.
