Michael Allen Jones

Nicholasville-Michael Allen Jones, 51, died March 21, 2009 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born August 12, 1957, son of the late Leo and Amanda Burton Jones. Survivors include a very special person in his life, Sunday Hughes, three sons, Mark Allen Jones, Michael Leo Burgin and William Tyler -Tater Head- Burgin, three grandchildren, two sisters, Pattie Sue Gullett and Diane Underwood. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Michelle Jones. Services will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Tuesday. Bearers will be Ron Shearer, David Hall, Michael Hughes, Mike Gullett, Gene Underwood, Steve Johnson and Travis Peel. Honorary bearers will be Ronald Dale Shearer, Bobby Hall and Michael Hall.
