Melody Jane Terrell

Melody Jane Terrell, 67, of Nancy Hanks Road, Lexington, passed away at her home on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Melody was born in Zanesville, Ohio, on June 20, 1954, to Betty Caroline Tom and the late Robert E. Orsban Sr. She was employed by the University of Kentucky, where she worked as a physician's secretary. She is survived by two sons, Daniel David (Holly) Terrell and Lewis William McCloud Jr., one daughter, Edith (James Sr.) Caroline Callahan, one brother, Robert E. Orsban Jr., one sister, Donna Jean (Steve) Burke, and three grandchildren, Layla Callahan, Carter Terrell, and Kaiden Terrell. Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
