Matthew Graydon Cooper

Matthew Graydon Cooper, 44, son of Lynn Graydon Cooper and Roselyn Marie Budek Cooper died January 16, 2014. He was a member of the Wilmore Free Methodist Church, the NRA, Bluegrass Sportsman Club, enjoyed discussing political, healthcare, and social justice issues. Matthew loved animals, and was in the process of obtaining his dog training certificate. Additional survivors include a sister, Julie Cooper (Rob) Holifield, two nephews, Wesley and Siah Holifield, his paternal grandmother, Anita Lawson Cooper, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Robert Cooper, maternal grandparents, Jenny Budek Nelson, Theodore James Budek, and Olaf Nelson, and a brother, David Christian Cooper. Services will be 11:00am Monday at the Wilmore Free Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Wilmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5pm Sunday at Betts & West Funeral Home.
