Mary Jessamine Sauls

Nicholasville-Mary Jessamine Sauls, 82, died Monday, March 16, 2009, after a lengthy illness. She was a retired teacher serving with the Jessamine County School system for 33 years and was a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church. She was born in Jessamine County on March 11, 1927, daughter of the late Rutherford and Cordie Davis Fain. She is survived by three sons, Daniel Sauls, David Sauls and Mark Sauls all of Nicholasville, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, a step-daughter Marilyn Andros and two special nieces, Janelle Fain and Joyce Barber. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 1:30pm, Friday, March 20, 2009 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Sholar officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Thursday. Bearers will be Matt Sauls, Stephen Sauls, Bobby Sauls, Paul Locker, Chuck Nicholas and Corey Blanton.
