Mary Grace May

Mary Grace May, 79, wife of Franklin Erwin May, passed away on September 6, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on April 9, 1944, to the late Reverend C. B. Coots and Emma Dorothy Boden Coots. Besides her husband, Mary is survived by one son Frankie (Cheri Kaylor) May, two daughters Dorothy (Terry) Adams and Laura (Tim) Adams, and five grandchildren Hunter May, Brandon Adams, Rebecca (Tristan Adams) Connor Adams, and Drew Adams. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one grandson Joseph Paige, and a brother Reverend Tom Coots. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Dr. Carl Peters officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Frankie May, Tim Adams, Hunter May, Drew Adams, and Connor Adams.
