Mary Elizabeth Brandstetter Moss

Mary Elizabeth Brandstetter Moss, 101, widow of C.T. Moss, died March 17, 2010. She was a native of Smithland, KY, daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Brumfield Brandstetter. Mrs. Moss was a longtime member of the Nicholasville Baptist Church. She attended Bethel College and Murray State College. She is survived by a son and his wife, Ted and Betsy Moss Nicholasville, grandchildren, Trish Moss-Lexington, Tim Moss and his wife Robin, Nicholasville, great grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth (Brandon) Slusher, Nicholasville, Christopher Taylor Moss-USN San Diego, and Aaron Timothy Moss, Nicholasville, a very special friend, Alice Brock and a special pet, Riley. Services will be 11:00am Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Billy, Danny, Rodney, Ashley and Jeremy Moss, Terry McFarland, Brandon Slusher, Christopher and Aaron Moss. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9:00 PM at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the staff of Council Oaks Assisted Living for their wonderful care and love of P-Nut and Hospice of the Bluegrass for their compassionate care.
