Martha Jane Downs

Martha Jane Downs, age 88, wife of Alvin Downs, passed away August 15, 2018 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on June 17, 1930 in Midway, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Viola Gregory McClain. Besides her husband she is survived by one son Paul (Shelvy) Downs, grand children Paula (Chip) Warner, Patricia (Josh) Pearson, Ann (Jim) Woods, Carol Frisby, Ricky (Kim) Cox, Cindy Cain, Michael (Shawnda) Cox, Leah Damron, Samantha (Johnny) Bajusz, 13 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Louella (Kenny) Cox. Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Morrow officiating. Graveside services will be 11AM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Midway Cemetery in Midway, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 11AM till 2PM Friday at the funeral home.
