Margaret Louise Waits

Margaret Louise Waits, 84, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Wilmore, Kentucky. She was born on January 12, 1932 in Paris, Kentucky to the late Harry Ward and Myrtle Asbury Hicks. She was retired University of Kentucky employee and a member of the Providence Christian Church. Margaret is survived by one brother Stanley Ward (Marcia) Hicks, nephews Michael (Carol) Hicks, and David (Amy) Allen, and Tommy Hicks, nieces Lelia Allen, Shannon Hicks Rhinehart, Alice Brooks, Connie Wiley. Funeral service will be conducted at 1PM Friday, April 29, 2016 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Reverend Carol Devine officiating. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11AM till 1PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Providence Christian Church.
