Margaret Jane Blakeman

Lancaster-Margaret Jane Blakeman, 83, widow of Charles Mitchell -Boss- Blakeman, of Biggerstaff Lane, formerly of Nicholasville, died July 31, 2010 at her home. She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church and a retired employee of the GE Lexington Lamp Plant. Survivors include three children and their spouses, Sandy and Harry Whitt, Dale and Mary Blakeman and Bonnie and Richard Herring-all of Lancaster, four grandchildren, Stacy Gullette, Melissa Colwell, Jessica Blakeman and Blake Herring, eight great grandchildren, Kelsie Hulett, Katie Helton, Samantha Price, Zach and Maddy Hulett, Danielle and Nikki Elder and Nicholas Gabbard. A celebration of life service will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. She will be buried with her husband in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9pm today.
