Marceda Gail Jones

Marceda Gail Jones, 77, wife of Jake Major Jones, Jr., passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Ephriam McDowell Hospital in Danville, Kentucky. She was born on August 23, 1946, in Annville, Kentucky to the late Elmer Moore and the late Vogel Halcomb Moore. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Yonel (Steve) Fawcett, two sons, Kevin (Melissa) Jones, and Byron (Marie Riddle) Jones, grandchildren, Rodney Jones, Cynthia Jones, Jacob Jones, Logan Stinnett, and Alicia Stinnett, two great-grandchildren, Aria Dunaway and Katie Dunaway, and a sister, Cricket (Harry) Nicholson. She is preceded in death by a sister, Verlon Radeck, and a brother, Lonnie Moore. Services will be on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Gods Landmark Church, 1401 Kennedy Bridge Road, Lancaster, Kentucky 40444 with Pastor Gary Stephen Noe officiating. A burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bearers will be Kevin Jones, Byron Jones, Steve Fawcett, Rodney Jones, Wade Nicholson, and Logan Stinnett.
