MaKayla Faith Clark, 19, of Nicholasville, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. Born in Lexington on December 29, 2001, to Amy Thacker Clark and the late Stephen Michael Clark, she brought joy to many throughout her life. She is survived by her son, Jace Michael Sims, fiancé, Jacob Thomas Sims, a sister, Kendall Grace Clark, paternal grandparents, Donna & Darryl Herrington, maternal grandparents, Johnny & Susie Thacker, paternal great-grandparents, Don & Phyllis Carter, special aunt Stephanie Rogers and a very special best friend, Samantha Sherrow and her daughter Emmy. Casket bearers will be Austin Reynolds, Brian Denger, Brandon Rogers, Austin Rogers, Jacob Sims, and William Sherrow. Nicholas Curry, David Carter, Greg McLean, and Robert Corman will be Honorary bearers. Services will be conducted Monday, December 27, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service Monday. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family requests that anybody who attends these services to please wear a mask.
