Linda Lucas Brock

Linda Lucas Brock age 75, widow of Emmett H. Brock of Nicholasville died July 21, 2023. Linda was born in Lexington, Kentucky. Graduated from Henry Clay High School and retired from UK Hospital. Linda was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church where she enjoyed working and serving the Lord in whatever way she needed. Over the years at Edgewood, she made many wonderful friends that meant so much to her. She was involved with the Senior Adult program and the Annual Toy Project. Survived by three stepbrothers Don Wright (Jeannie), Glen Wright (JoAnn), and Mike Wright (Linda). A host of nieces and friends. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Miriam Wright, and Grandparents Bernie and Katherine Lucas. Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Brother Steve Gray and Cody Dean officiating. Burial will follow at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 Noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Casket Bearers will be Leonard Lucas, Danny Mike Lucas, John Lucas, Doug Kincaid, Shelby Nicholson, Corky Tharp, Ray Richardson, and Ed Brown. Honorary Bearers Fidelis Sunday Class.
