Linda Lou Sewell

Linda Lou Sewell was called home November 11, 2020. Born January 25, 1944 to the late Moss and Mae Abshear and preceded in death by her husband Dwight Sewell and brothers Jerry and Gary Joe and sister-in-law Nelva Abshear. She is the beloved sister of Carolyn (Bruce) Boggs, Mickey (Debbie) Abshear, Paul Abshear, and Beverly (Don) Janes. She is survived by her daughter Missy Sewell (Tony Day), granddaughter Amanda Sutherland (Jacob Carter), great grandchildren Judson and Elleigh Scout, and her faithful dog, Rudy. They find comfort in knowing that the gardens of Heaven will be evermore beautiful with her tending. Affectionately known as Granny, she embraced the role above all others. Always selfless, and loyal, her welcoming presence will be dearly missed. She was a gifted artist, enjoyed working puzzles and the company of her loved ones. In all seasons, she remained a true UK fan, never missing a game. An intimate graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday November 16th at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
