Linda Carol Vanover

Linda Carol Preston Vanover, 68, of High Bridge Rd, Lancaster, KY passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born in Indiana, on July 29, 1953, the daughter of the late Harrison Delbert Preston Jr. and Vernice Jean Rowland Preston. She drove the school bus for Jessamine County for 18 years, and she was a local business owner of Dollarville among other entrepreneurships. Linda was preceded in death by siblings, Brenda Sue (Terry) Hager, Jeffrey Dale Preston, Sherry Elaine Hornsby, nephew, Dakota Tori Lee Preston; and brother-in-law Ricky Lamb. Linda is survived by her son, Kevin Todd Vanover (Cindy Jo); former husband and good friend, Bruce Vanover; brothers, Delbert Lee “Buddy” Preston, Gregory Allen Preston (Susan Lisa), Steven Ray Preston, sister, Donna Jean Lamb and sister-in-law Anita Preston; grandchildren, Preston Todd Vanover, and Peyton Jo Vanover; nieces and nephews, Karen Hager, Vance Hager, Chasity Murphy, Christin Cook, Jennifer Tinsley, Leigh Ann Welch, Kenny Smith, Nikki Drake, Jayson Preston, Daniel Preston, Levi Preston, Austin Carpenter; and many special great nieces and nephews, as well as special friends, Sharon and Bob Suel, Brenda and Jackie Powers, Angie Crossfield, Angela Smith, and Debbie Collins. Services will be Friday, July 29, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Noel Cotton officiating. She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Michael Gabbard, Alan Pitney, Vance Hager, Jayson Preston, Daniel Preston, and Levi Preston. Honorary bearers will be Preston Vanover, Greg Preston, Buddy Preston, Steve Preston, Gaige Colston, and Rachel Hogge. Visitation will be held Friday, from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
