Levester Morton

Levester Morton, 85, passed away, Saturday, November 5, 2022, at her home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Byhalia, Mississippi, on August 3, 1937, to the late Aaron Hampton and the late Zelma Talley Hampton. She is survived by sons, Larry (Patricia) Whitfield and Andre (Jennifer) Morton, daughters, Sandra Palmer, Jackie Morton, Lagretta Dodson, Malissa Burrell, and Laticia Benton, brothers, Chester Sanders, and J.T. Sanders, sister, Mary Louise (Jeff) Clay, 28 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kelvin Morton. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home with a Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 PM.
