Leonidas W. Hearn, Iii

Leonidas (Lee) W. Hearn, III, age 87, husband of Ruth E. Hale Hearn, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born in Smithfield, Virginia, on August 17, 1936, to the late Leonidas W. Hearn, Jr. and the late Lillian Coffer Hearn.

Leonidas retired from AT&T. In addition to his wife, Ruth, he is survived by two daughters, Elisabeth A. Williamson and Sharon L. Hearn, and a son, Keith L. Hearn, and two grandchildren, Joshua (Jessica) Williamson and Matthew Williamson, and six great grandchildren, Hosanna Williamson, Judah Williamson, Evangeline Williamson, Shepherd Williamson, Mercy Williamson, and one more to be born May 2024.

The family chose cremation, and a Celebration of Life is scheduled on Thursday, February 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Sayre Christian Village.
