Kenneth Wayne Reed, 67, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at his home in Lancaster. He was born in Lexington on June 21, 1955, to the late Charles Reed and Helen Davis Reed. He worked in construction, having retired from R & R Services. He is survived by his sons, Joshua Reed, Brian Fain, and Wesley Fain; daughter, Anita Sons (Jonathan); brothers, Robert Reed (Nancy), William Reed (Kathy), and Charles Reed (Sharon); sister, Juana Bowman (Mike); as well as four grandchildren, Addison Reed, Kenneth Reed, Daron Reed, and Dylan Reed. He is preceded by sons, Jay Scott and Travis Fain, and a brother, Ronald Reed. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 22, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, with Pastor Tommy Morrow and Angie Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery with friends and family serving as bearers. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service, Monday, at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Sunday School. Betts & West is honored to serve the Reed family in their time of need.
