Kenneth Ray Hager

July 9, 1927 — January 12, 2012

Ray Hager, 84, husband of 37 years to Debbie Smith Hager, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 after a short illness. Ray was a retired dispatcher for the Nicholasville Police Department, a World War II Army Veteran and served for several years as a faithful volunteer at the Community Service Center of Wilmore-High Bridge. Additional survivors include two grandchildren, Eric and Audrey, a brother, Elesteen P. (Mary) Hager, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ray (Grampy) will be forever missed by his family. Services will be 9:00am Monday at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Leonard Fitch officiating.
