Kenneth Ray Hager

July 9, 1927 — January 12, 2012

Ray Hager, 84, husband of 37 years to Debbie Smith Hager, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 after a short illness. Ray was a retired dispatcher for the Nicholasville Police Department, a World War II Army Veteran and served for several years as a faithful volunteer at the Community Service Center of Wilmore-High Bridge. Additional survivors include two grandchildren, Eric and Audrey, a brother, Elesteen P. (Mary) Hager, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ray (Grampy) will be forever missed by his family. Services will be 9:00am Monday at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Leonard Fitch officiating. Bearers will be Zachary, Coty and Brittany Collins, Billy Ray Hager, Eric and Dooder Hager. Online guestbook at www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com
