Katherine Marie Gardner Mulcahy

Katherine Marie Gardner Mulcahy, 84, widow of Earnest Mulcahy, died Sunday, January 20, 2013. She was born October 16, 1928 in Georgetown, KY to the late Joseph T. and Elzora Wilson Gardner. She was a homemaker and charter member of New Hope Fellowship Church. Katherine loved to crochet, knit, cook, bake and dance. Survivors are four children, Linda Peel, Sharon Hurst, Darrell (Susan) Mulcahy and Anthony Peel, twenty five grandchildren and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Mulcahy and a daughter, Shirley Ann Mulcahy. Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at New Hope Fellowship Church with Pastor Ron Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the church. Bearers will be Darrell Mulcahy, Anthony Peel, Greg Peel, Carlos Peel, David Peel, Taylor Hurst and Willie Howard.
