Katherine 'Kathy' Fay Underwood Doerting, 41, passed Friday, April 1, 2016. Kathy was born July 4, 1974 in Fayette County to Eugene (Diane) Morgan Underwood and Arvella Dunaway. Her children were the love of her life, they are Erica Underwood and Bobby Barnes. Other family survivors are five siblings, Lester (Stacy) Underwood, Melinde (Nathan) Friess, Mikki Smith, Travis Peel and Rachel Peel and other family members. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Lynn Underwood. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating.
