Katherine Baker Machesney

Katherine Baker Machesney, 86, wife of Melvin Machesney, died Tuesday July 14 2009. She was born July 20, 1922 in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Charles Frederick -Joby- and Ethel Carolyn Butler Baker. Katherine was a legal secretary for many years and a long time employee of Fostoria Glass Company as a executive secretary, a avid bowler, swimmer and volunteer for the police department and Red Cross in Huntington, West Virginia and a strong supporter of the Humane Society. She was the beloved mother of Karen Machesney Sander and Kathleen Machesney, grandmother of Aaron Sander and Lauren Clark and great grandmother of two great grandchildren.
