Nicholasville-Judy French Lively, 69, widow of Edward Lively, died November 27, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Jessamine County and daughter of the late John and Evaline Wells French. She was a former employee of McClane Company. Survivors include a stepson, Tim (Kelly) Lively, four step grandsons, brothers Carl 'Bill' (Marcella) French and Bobby (Barbara) French, sisters, Betty Jean Pritchett, Barbara (Richard) Horton and Kathy (Reynold) Solomon, a special friend Bobbye Orrill, and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy French, a sister, Patricia Ledford and a step son, Tom Lively. Services will be 1:00pm Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Whitehouse and Rev. Leonard Fitch officiating. Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Wednesday. Bearers will be Larry, Keith and Robbie French, Tom Kroes, Terry Back and Eric Grimes. Honorary bearer will be Doug French. Donations are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
