Joyce Marie Peel Reynolds, 69, wife of Alvin Reynolds of Kissing Ridge Road, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Community Church. She was born in Jessamine County on March 24, 1940 to the late Hughie L. and Margaret Miller Peel. Additional survivors are eight children, Danny Jasper (Phaune) Reynolds-Jessamine Co., Peggy Conaway Reynolds-Nicholasville, Kim A. (Darlene) Reynolds-Garrard Co., Mark (Shelia) Reynolds-Jessamine Co., Brad (Sandra) Reynolds-Jessamine Co., Pamelia (Keith) Locker-Garrard Co., Latonya (Thomas) O-Hara-Jessamine Co., and Joan Marie Reynolds-Jessamine Co, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a sister, Debbie Butcher-Nicholasville and four brothers, Billy and Ronnie Peel-Nicholasville, Henry Peel-Fayette Co., Charles Peel-Garrard Co., and a best friend, Hazel McGraw-Nicholasville. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Beatty Peel and a sister, Patricia Rhoades. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Peel officiating. Burial will follow in Mose Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Calvin Reynolds, Chris Conaway, William -Junebug- Rhoades, Nick Peel, Tim Peel and Daryl Peel. Honorary bearers will be Carl Pruitt, Coleman Gibbs, Keith Locker and Dave Conaway.
